For this art, I used a pencil and straight lines to create a swirling illusion. It changes a persons point of view by using shape, pattern and random composition to create unity with the image itself, and also adds unity when combined with other classmates images who used the same design elements. By pressing harder in the areas where the lines were closer together, I created contrast which made the illusion that some areas were shaded darker. It was harder than I thought to create swirling squares, because if they weren't perfectly aligned the swirling illusion wasn't as prominent.
